The Design Smart project aims to strengthen VET providers with advanced training in sustainable fashion and digital tools to support the upskilling of the business sector while equipping SMEs and women entrepreneurs with the skills to implement green, circular, and innovative business practices.
Project Objectives
Strengthen VET Providers with AI and eco-design Training Resources
Create a Sustainable Fashion and AI Curriculum featuring eco-design, circular economy, AI materials, and ethical business models, reaching VET educators through train-the-trainer seminars and integrating new curricula in VET centres
Empower SMEs and Women Entrepreneurs with Sustainable Fashion & Digital Tools
Offer targeted support to SMEs, specifically women-led SMEs, through a Capacity-Building and Mentorship Programme featuring AI-powered eco-design guides, and circular economy templates, benefitting SMEs and women entrepreneurs.
Bridge the gap between VET and the business sector through collaboration.
Build a digital platform linking VET and SMEs, showcasing the Eco—Fashion Simulator: a real-world case, chatbot, community of practice, and interactive OERs on zero-waste design, engaging VET, SME owners, women entrepreneurs, and educators.
Raise Awareness and Enhance Work-Based Learning in Sustainable Fashion & and AI
Disseminate the project and create a policy paper to bridge theory and practice, enhancing work-based learning opportunities and reaching over 3,000 people through face-to-face activities and indirectly via social media and campaigns.
